Waukesha Senior Tayler

Tayler’s outfits are the cutest! We know that you’ll agree. This motivated senior is a Renaissance gal — she really does it all! Her bright smile made this session a joy to capture. Are you a Class of 2020 senior, looking to book your own session? Hear some advice from Tayler about her experience:

How was your experience working with us?

I admit, I really dislike being photographed sometimes. However, I had a wonderful time working with Kara from start to finish. She’s optimistic and loves her work, and it shows when she’s taking, editing, and showing you the photos taken. Plus, she has the cutest studio downtown!

What kinds of activities do you love to participate in?

I like to involve myself a lot with school clubs. I’m the President of Model United Nations, Senior Representative on student council, and a member of key club, national honors society, forensics, the West Leadership Academy, and marching band. Outside of school I spend quite a bit of time hiking at Lapham Peak and reading historical fiction.

Any tips for hair & makeup?

I wanted to keep my makeup simple and sweet, and I did. I have no regrets about doing so because I feel like it’s 100% me in my photos.

Where did we do your session? Did you like the location?

We chose Retzer Nature Center. I’ve hiked there most of my life, so I was very familiar with the location. There are so many different places to take pictures, I was never worried about finding the right spot.

What kind of look were you going for in the shoot?

I don’t think I have a “look”, but I know that I wanted to have diversity in the outfits in my pictures as well as show off my style on my best days. When choosing, I thought a lot about what I love to wear, what I’d be comfortable being photographed in, and what colors would fit the season.
